With a bit of help from his publicist, he sent her an “invitation” to a faux CFDA/Vogue dinner with none other than Anna Wintour. “He made the invite look so legitimate,” Nina shared. When she arrived, though, the room was silent except for Shaun and a photographer standing by an arch of white roses. Stunned, Nina admitted, “I went into shock. I just froze and stared at him.”
In the glow of her “yes,” the couple celebrated until the early hours with friends, topping off the evening with Shake Shack and dumplings after realizing they’d forgotten to eat.
